A weekly in-person social club for women of all ages who are tired of optimizing life and ready to build friendships through playful shared experiences.

Built for friendship
Friendship isn't accidental. Research suggests it takes around 90 hours to turn a stranger into a friend. We meet every week because relationships need repetition.

Every gathering follows the same rhythm: a warm welcome, a shared mystery experience, space for conversation, and a gentle closing ritual. You don't have to plan anything, decide anything, or improve yourself. Just show up and be delightfully, gloriously you.​

We gather Mondays in Vadnais Heights. The activities change; the feelings of belonging and delight don't.​
6:20 p.m.
Welcome to the clubhouse
You open the door and are greeted by new friends. Put on comfy slippers, pour a warm beverage, begin to exhale.
6:30 p.m.
Opening ritual
At the weekly check-in, you start to feel held. Other members don't judge; they simply witness where you are today.
6:50 p.m.
The glorious nonsense begins
Tonight's mystery event is an obstacle course. Oh boy. You start out pretty apprehensive but end up in tears of laughter.
8:25 p.m.
Closing ritual
We read the picture book "The Most Magnificent Thing" and reflect on all the magnificent things you've made happen. As you leave, you already can't wait to see what glorious nonsense the group will get up to next week.
Field notes: One day at the Clubhouse
You may be wondering where the idea for a club devoted to glorious nonsense came from. Our founder, Jennifer, explains:

In 2023, I cohosted a women's weekend with no agenda. We rode scooters and played silly games. We cooked together and sat in companionable quiet. I could feel the exhale, the delight, the version of us that shows up when we each remember we're a person — not just someone who gets things done.

Then the weekend ended. Two days wasn't enough to build lasting friendships or habitually build joy into our lives.

Leaving there, I felt called to build something more permanent — a standing place to exhale, to belong, and to delight.
That calling became The League of Glorious Nonsense.

Your membership begins the first Monday of the month after you register. Payment at registration covers the first month, and then regular payments begin on the 15th of each month begin to cover the following month's dues. You may cancel at any time. No refunds will be given for partial month cancellations. Applicable Minnesota sales tax is included in the price.
